Geraldine Law-Lee: Step By Step Piano Course The Fun Way - Step 3 - Law-Lee, Geraldine (Author)

Geraldine Law-Lee 's Step By Step Piano Course The Fun Way provides a sound foundation for students who are learning to read music and play the Piano. This songbook helps students to develop musicianship and finger technique - strength, independence, perfect legato, staccato and gradation - while increasing their recognition of basic key concepts. Reading is reinforced with pieces in familiar keys that feature advances in different concepts (either tone, articulation or addition of new skills) and students will get a clear feel of rhythm using well-known tunes and through the enjoyable 'talk about' integration of theoretical and aural aspects. Many of the pieces included in this book will be familiar to parents or teachers, allowing them to give the student the support and encouragement that is so vital during these early stages. This basic 'Step by Step' concept gradually frees out into the classical world of styles and interpretation, not forgetting the Fun Pieces' included at the back of every book for the enjoyment of the student and their audience alike.
